Pamela de Oliveira-Smith is a Boston-based writer, editor and creative director. A.Vernon Woodworth FAIA is Life Safety & Code Consulting Service Leader at Fitzemeyer & Tocci Associates, Inc., in Woburn, MA and a member of the Faculty at the Boston Architectural College. He serves as Secretary to the Human Architecture and Planning Institute, inc. (theHAPi.org), a non-profit devoted to improving the user experience in the built environment. .
