Joanna Chataway is Professor in Development Policy and Practice, Faculty of Technology at The Open University, UK. She is part of the senior management team at Innogen - the ESRC centre for for social and economic research on innovation in genomics. Marc Wuyts is Professor of Quantitative Applied Economics at the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, The Netherlands.
