KOMI BEGEDOU, PH.D., is an Associate Professor of American Studies at Université de Lomé, Togo. His research focuses on race and ethnicity, ecocriticism,cultural studies, and gender studies.

KOMLA M.AVONO, PH.D., a critic and writer, is Associate Professor of American literature and civilization at Université de Lomé, Togo. His publications focus on the legacy of colonialism as a terrible thing, as he is aware and is a 'reader'of reality.
