This book contains five chapters that detail linolenic acid. Chapter One explains the effects a-linolenic acids (ALAs) have on improving and preventing hepatic steatosis. Chapter Two describes the effects of linolenic acid and its derivatives on the innate and adaptive immune response. Chapter Three overviews the numerous neurogenesis-attractive features of ALA and reviews the existing literature on the subject. Chapter Four explains how linolenic acid could modulate the pathomechanism related to colorectal cancer. Lastly, Chapter Five reviews the existing literature on ALA and gives a brief overview of the many cardiovascular attractive features of ALA.
