Publius Ovid Nazon is an ancient Roman poet. Best known as the author of the poems "Metamorphoses" and "Science of Love", as well as elegies - "Love Elegies" and "Sorrowful Elegies". According to one of the versions, due to the inconsistency of the ideals of love promoted by him, the official policy of the Emperor Augustus regarding family and marriage was exiled from Rome to the western Black Sea region, where he spent the last years of his life. He had a huge influence on European literature, including Pushkin, who in 1821 dedicated him an extensive message in verse. Content: 1. Metamorphoses 2. Lyrics
