No, that doesn't justify what they put us through, but we need to think about the type of men we are attracted to. We need to set boundaries and stop falling for the okey-doke. A fat Johnson and a couple of dollars shouldn't substitute for the lack of common sense. This book will not spare your feelings and it is not filled with a bunch of motivational quotes. It is the brutal truth and the truth hurts. This book was written because I got tired of seeing my beauty Queens going through the same bull crap over and over. You are too smart and beautiful to be letting someone's son make you feel like you ain't ish. Looking at yourself like you ugly, insecure, too big, too small, looking all crazy cause you cursed out the whole family. RANT OVER!!
