Autorenporträt
Ibrahim Ramjaun is a library and information professional who reckons nearly four decades of working experience. He earned his B.A Library & Information Science and MSc Information and Library Management with distinction. He was a recipient of the prestigious IFLA/OCLC Fellowship held in Dublin, Ohio in 2004 and has been a Visiting Professional at the ICC Library in the Netherlands in 2007. He has been a member of the American Library Association. He attended IFLA's World Library Summit in Berlin in 2003and two African Library Summits held in South Africa. He was the President of the Association of Professional Librarians (Mauritius) in 2011-2013. He has to his credit the publication of a number of articles both in the local and international press. His most recent one is entitled Islam and Luxury Consumption. He is currently senior librarian in a University.
