Rezensionen
"In her newly revised edition of Raising Girls with ADHD: Secrets for parenting healthy happy daughters, Mary Anne Richey creates a terrific resource for parents, clinicians and educators. She has added a wide range of new, relevant material that translates recent findings on hormones, neurobiology, gender identity and social relationships into clear, practical applications for the classroom, home and consulting room. Covering female development from toddlers through adolescents, this great book offers numerous opportunities for readers to investigate, assess and apply a wide range of interventions with its useful exercises, tables and worksheets. I particularly like how Richey ties everything together at the end of each chapter with the two sections called 'Points to consider' and 'Action steps to take now.' With its positive psychology approach, this book offers hope and guidance to everybody who lives with, teaches or works with girls with ADHD. I will definitely be recommending it to my clients and colleagues!"

-Dr. Sharon Saline, Psychologist and Independent Parenting and Educational Consultant, Author of What Your ADHD Child Wishes You Knew

"As in so many areas of medicine, what we know about girls with ADHD is finally beginning to catch up with boys, and there's no better guide than Mary Anne Richey to do the heavy-lifting for us. Not only is the updated edition of "Raising Girls with ADHD" easy for parents to find what they need, whether it's information on developmental stages or insights about 504s and IEPs; but it's important. It sheds a new light on previously misunderstood difficulties facing girls with ADHD. This book will help an entire generation of parents pave a smoother path for their girls to become self-confident adult women who know how to manage their ADHD."
