Raymond Mullikin is a cartoonist and credentialed educator. He teaches art classes (including Cartooning, Video Game Creation and Claymation) to children. He also creates his own children's books, comics, computer games and animated films. His first published work was at age 12, in which designed ads (and a logo) for local businesses in his hometown. And at 16 he created his first graphic novel (The World of Weralt).

He has self-published cartoons in books, magazines, newspapers, and e-cards in the US and Canada. One of his earliest notables being "The Tumbleweed Trail" which was published in Bluemoon Comics magazine and "The World of Weralt" a fantasy graphic novel he wrote when he was 16 years old (both being in the latter 90s, while he was in high school). His animated films have been shown in film festivals throughout the world (the latest being "Miced: War of the Little Worlds", which won an award.)
