Autorenporträt
"Sandra talks too much," "Sandra daydreams", "Sandra annoys others"...words that frequently found themselves penned in the comment section of her elementary school report cards. It wasn't until she married, became a mom, finished college, and became a Speech Therapist that she realized her knack for creativity in writing. However, those red-lettered words from grade school would haunt her and cause her to doubt that her writing could be found worthy.

Nearly two decades after she wrote her first children's book (still unpublished), she found courage in another set of red-lettered words from Matthew 5:16, "Let your Light so shine before others...glorifying your Heavenly Father!" So that is what she decided to do!

Sandra Mullins Bost, a retired Speech-Language Pathologist and current high school English teacher, is offering her Light (creative writing) to shine on the world of adoption, which is near to her heart and the heart of God. She and her husband were foster parents for 19 years before becoming foster grandparents. In 2021, their daughter and son-in-love welcomed a daughter through adoption. It is from this perspective that Sandra brings her first book to publication, in hopes of giving adoptees and their parents a place to begin telling their adoption story.

Sasa and Poppy (their favorite names) live in Alabama with their deaf dog. They have two married children who have blessed them with five adorable grandchildren. When she is not teaching, Sandra enjoys time with her family and sipping coffee while porch-sitting to the happy sounds of nature.
