Autorenporträt
Prof. Dr. Guiqing Yang is Principal Investigator of the “Urban and Rural Development and Rural Planning” research team and the former Dean of the Department of Urban Planning in Tongji University. He was educated at Tongji University, Harvard University, and received his Ph.D. from Tongji University in 2003. The majority of his research focus on Chinese Urbanization, urban and rural residential planning and design, urban and rural community planning, urban sociology, etc. His publications mainly include Rural Settlements- Guidelines of Village Features in Huangyan (2020), Wuyan Old Village- Rebirth of Historical Cultural Village in Huangyan (2016), Huangyan Exploration- Planning & Construction for Beautiful Countryside (2015), Rural Community- Planning Standrad & Design Studies (as Chief Editor, 2012), Rural China- report on Chinese rural settlements 2010 (as Chief Editor, 2011), Urban Social Psychology (as Chief Editor, 2000), and over 100 journal articles.
