Ernest Dempsey hails from Hangu, a small town in Pakistan. He has a Masters degree in Geology and one in English Literature. Dempsey started writing fiction and skits at age twelve. To date, he has authored five published books in addition to numerous poems, essays, short stories, and literary reviews published worldwide. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal "Recovering the Self" published in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dempsey also writes about humanitarian issues at the Journal of Humanitarian Affairs (http://greenheritagenews.com/) and advocates animal rights and vegetarianism.
