ABOUT THIS BOOK Many of the words in this book were inspired by the wonderful and varied scenery which I discovered whilst living and working in northern California in the United States. ABOUT THIS BOOK Many of the words in this book were inspired by the wonderful and varied scenery which I discovered whilst living and working in northern California in the United States. I was fortunate to have my work recognised by winning the award for International poetry achievement. Other words were written for loved ones and to celebrate special occasions. I sincerely hope any readers of these words will find them at least thought provoking. I dedicate this book to my wonderful children who have given me so much laughter and joy over the years and to my long suffering husband, without whose encouragement and support this book would not have come to fruition. Most photographs in this book were taken by my husband Frank Biggs qualified member of the R.P.S I.I.P. M.P.A. F.E.P. (Ret) and others by members of the family.

Autorenporträt
Carol Carter was born in London England, she has travelled extensively and lived and worked in different parts of the world. It was whilst working and living in the United States she found herself compelled to put down on paper, albeit in poetic format, her feelings and thoughts about the impact of the incredible scenery and varied vistas this country offered. She realised, almost anew! the incredible world we inhabit and what amazing things we humans seem to take so for granted. She hopes some of her words will cause people to think more carefully regarding our wonderful earth, and to look again at the place we are privileged to spend our lives in and learn to protect the world around us for generations to come. She now lives with her husband just outside a lovely small village in France, in a home she and her husband have spent four years renovating in beautiful countryside.
