Joselyn M. Almeida is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is the editor of Romanticism and the Anglo-Hispanic Imaginary (2010), a collection that assesses the extensive cultural relations between Britain, Spain, and Latin America.
