I was born in Greenville N.C in August 1958, I came up with my big brother and mother we lived with my Grandparents out in a section called St. Peters outside of Greenville , we didn't have very much such as money, a fine home or a lot of material things other people may have had, but those to me was the greatest times of my life. We had love and respect for each other, and above all my mom and grandparents always would talk to us about God and Jesus and the Bible, about how good they were and how they were taking care.of us though our hard times. Honestly I didn't see it like that then but I was still happy with living with my family. Every Sunday we went to Church (sick, mad, upset, whatever, we still had to go to Church) my grandmother would always say. The six days you did what you wanted to do, this day belongs to the Lord. Honestly I still didn't understand, but I went on anyway (I didn't have a chose about the matter.) when my mom moved into her own place with just me and big brother a lot of things begin to change for me but even then my mom had us still in Church. I started playing the guitar I got very good at it if I must say so myself and later I started playing keyboard, drums , bass, even banjo I begin to write my own songs , and do a lot of things. But it wasn't until my encounter with God personally in 1984 that I really begin to see and understand all my mother and grandparents would teach me about God, because I saw then just how good God had been to me though my life, and that is why I shall live up to my vows to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit until the end of my life. I will let NOTHING cause me to go back on my vow to them, I have a public TV ministry, a nursing home ministry and outreach ministry, a music ministry, a Church ministry, and more but even after I do all of that I still feel inside that that's little compared to all they have done for me, I am determined to keep my relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit FOREVER.
