Ralph McInerny is a prolific writer of mysteries, including the Father Dowling, Andrew Broome, and Sister Mary Teresa Dempsey series. He is also a director of the Jacques Maritain Center, a professor of philosophy, and the Michael P. Grace Professor of Medieval Studies at the University of Notre Dame. McInerny lives in South Bend, Indiana.
