Al-Rifai, in his expansion to address the religious phenomenon, touched on the door of human dignity in religion, and addressed this thorny issue skillfully, making it the focus of his thoughts, when he raised a fundamental question that every believer needs: Does religion enhance human dignity, enrich it, and elevate its status, or does it Strips him of it in favor of an abstract, heavenly belief, thus robbing the person of his individual self and his worldly dignity? Al-Rifai, in his expansion to address the religious phenomenon, touched on the door of human dignity in religion, and addressed this thorny issue skillfully, making it the focus of his thoughts, when he raised a fundamental question that every believer needs: Does religion enhance human dignity, enrich it, and elevate its status, or does it Strips him of it in favor of an abstract, heavenly belief, thus robbing the person of his individual self and his worldly dignity? He provided a comprehensive answer to that complex question in his bold book, "Religion and Human Dignity." It is a book that, although it appears to the reader to be smooth in style and delicate in its expressions, is deep in meaning, strong in structure, and solid in argument, and tempts the reader to delve into its interesting topic to find out the line between human dignity and human dignity. Wealth that religion bestows upon the believer, and shallow dignity that religiosity bestows on him. This requires me to comment on the topic: Faith is a form of deep understanding of a heavenly message whose goal is to change people's conditions in this world for the better. It is positive to the extent that a person practices religion with dignity that preserves his identity, and it is negative if he is forced into it, complies with a narrow-minded interpretation of it, and neglects his worldly identity with imaginary temptations. ; True religion does not suggest blind dependence on a mysterious god, and it does not see believers as a herd of followers. Rather, it requires an understanding of the content of its message, and openness to the historical context of the heavenly religions. There is no value for a religious message that does not make human dignity its first and last bet. I think that Al-Rifai has put his finger on it. On the deep meaning of religion, in which the spectrums of the spirit and mind blend in a pious harmony that makes the soul reassured and secure, yet alert and energetic. Al-Rifai's book does not favor the jurisprudential, theological, or theological legacy. Rather, it frees believers from its very heavy burden, and relieves them of its harsh burdens. Its goal is honesty and uprightness. Human dignity is not a matter of favoritism, and it should not be, whatever the pretexts. Dignity is strengthened when religion supports it, reinforces its noble values, and rejects violence and division.
