The topic of religion and pluralism has undergone significant developments in recent years. This volume introduces German-speaking readers to the debate, which has so far mainly been conducted in English, and develops fundamental questions and ideas for further research. International researchers throw light on central questions in the debate on pluralism and religion & e.g., the epistemic challenges of peer disagreement, neurotheological and psychology of religion arguments for a cross-cultural core of religious experience, and the potential of religious fictionalism as a response to the irreconcilability of religious claims to truth and the demands of tolerance in the face of the genuine plurality of religions.
