Autorenporträt
Simon Williams has over 20 years' experience of youth and community work, and over 8 years' experience in teaching within higher education, during which he has been a placement coordinator, working with both agencies and students to develop the best student experience on placement. Simon is Assistant Head of Discipline for Social and Community Studies at the University of Derby and is keen in supporting both practitioners and academics to challenge the barriers to active research practice.

Rachel Searcey is a lecturer in health and social care at the University of Derby. Her research areas relate to the sex industry and child sexual exploitation. She has over 20 years' experience of supporting individuals and families as a youth and community development worker for local authorities and charitable organisations.
