Autorenporträt
Gwendolyn D. Bryant is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and the youngest of 11 children. Married for 40 years to Douglas, Sr., out of their union came a son and twin daughters, from which they in return blessed Gwen and Doug with nine grandchildren. She is a Life Coach, Author, Public Speaker and co-founder of M2 Life Coaching for Discovery, LLC, helping empower and motivate others through Self-Identification, Awareness, and the power of application. After a "healthy" career of healthcare services, Gwen would later resign from her Medical Career in "2018" to become a Caregiver for her daughter after the devastating diagnosis of Colon Cancer. Tiffany succumbed to Colon Cancer on March 29, 2020, after a brave fight with the disease. Following the death of her daughter, Gwen became an Ambassador for Fight Colorectal Cancer aka "Fight CRC". Since becoming a Fight CRC Ambassador, she has spoken on numerous platforms as a very passionate advocate, raising awareness in honor of her daughter Tiffany by sharing her story. Some of the platforms are as follows... The National Black Nurses Association, Jacksonville, Florida; Baptist MD Anderson, Jacksonville, Florida; Pfizer; Borland Groover: "March to Get Screened"; Featured story in the Florida Times Union; TV 47 Local News Station; The Purple Heart Women's Support Group "Self-Care" event; Caregiver's seminar for "Hope for Tomorrow", a Cancer Support Group. Also, she was featured in the Fight CRC campaign ad, "No Excuses", held in New York City's Times Square. Gwen has made this Journey of her pain for the purpose God has given her to help others as Tiffany did. Gwen's desire is to take every opportunity to educate others about Colorectal Cancer and why it is so important to get screened and to always advocate for your own health. Gwen's compassion for people is reflected in her personal philosophy of "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care".
