Muhammad Wajid Tahir is serving as a Research Fellow in the Institute of Political Science, Philipps University Marburg. Tahir has also been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate classes at the Institute of Political Science, Philipps University Marburg (Germany) from 2014 to 2020. His recent book is a result of his Postdoc Research Fellowship funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation. The research was conceded in collaboration with the Philipps University Marburg and Gothenburg University (Sweden) from July 2017 to November 2019. Tahir’s research focuses on development and feminist theories; development aid and gender relations; culture, religion, and women’s empowerment; gender mainstreaming of public policies and legislation; and migration, integration, and gender equality.
