Steve Parker, M.D., shares every bit of your dissatisfation and frustration. It doesn't have to be this way. For those who are seriously interested in healthcare policy, Dr. Parker offers reform solutions that are both reasonable and respectful of our unique American culture. The author is a practicing internal medicine physician and hospitalist with over four decades of experience in the healthcare industry.

Steve Parker, M.D., has been practicing medicine full-time since 1981. He earned his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and did his internal medicine internship and residency in Austin, TX.
