Autorenporträt
Dale McMillan grew up in East Texas on a poor dirt farm where, from his parents, he learned to live just two generations away from pioneer life. Much of what he learned from his parents was traceable to what they learned from their pioneer parents. That pioneer blood still flows in his veins. After graduating from college, he spent 42 years working in the petrochemical industry in a research environment among the finest people the world has ever known. After building his home, on another poor dirt farm, a shop, horse barn and restoring a log cabin built originally in 1854 he began writing at the young age of 67. He is a member of the East Texas Storytellers Guild and The East Texas Antique Tractor and Engine association. He has written 14 books.
