Swapna Sanchita is a storyteller, poet, educator, and businesswoman who studied civil engineering and later went on to obtain a degree in management from IIM. Her literary journey started with the publication of a children's book for first-time readers, Pablo Panda. Her storybook Seven Stars Go Missing was a number one bestseller on Amazon in the children's science fiction category. Since then, she has published two more books of children's fiction, Lapooza and Tango and Crazy Tales of the Cosmos, and hopes to write many more. An avid poet, her poetry collection Des Vu was also an Amazon bestseller. Her poetry gets published in anthologies and journals all over the world. Occasionally, she writes short stories for grown-ups, but she likes writing for young children the most. A voracious reader, who cannot sleep without going through a few pages of a book, she insists the best kind of books are the ones that tell a great story. Swapna lives in Ranchi, India, with her husband, two sons, and a dog called Rocco. She loves crossword puzzles, chocolates, coffee, and a whole lot of things that aren't good for her.
