This book is about being right with God now and to eternity. It is based on a relationship with God through Jesus Christ that brings us into a fulfilling relationship with Him.
We can now stand in the truth of our new identity and take up our inheritance and responsibility in Christ. We can let the heart of Jesus Christ grasped our heart so that we might know Him experientially. It is not a one way relationship, but a two way relationship and he calls us to walk and work alongside with Him in unison. Otherwise we are only wasting a most precious opportunity and blessing in life.
We have the privilege and joy of walking with Him in a relationship not based on law but the gospel or grace. We also can learn to rest in Him, to walk in our freedom and to be ready and prepared for the end. Our destiny is assured in Him and can and may be eternally right with God.
Only in Christ will we find fulfillment in this life and the life to come. We can be right with God, and out of the overflow of that relationship, we can enjoy all that we were created to be and experience. This book talks about the basic truths that can assist everyone to be right with God and grow in that relationship in Christ. These truths are basic, but some of them are profound truths that are essential to walk in the fullness of Christ, a fullness He offers to every person in a personal relationship with Him. Some of these truths go deep, but they are basic for every Christian. These basic truths are the way to fullness in Christ.

Alan was one of the founding trustees of the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary. He has one unit of Pastoral Clinical Experience completed in Martinez, California and was once licensed as a clinical counselor with the BC association of Clinical Counselors. Alan's passions in ministry is evangelism and discipleship. He is also a passionate Theologian. He is interested in spiritual, relational, emotional, and physical healing. He is not just concerned with truth for truth sake. He is concerned that we experience the truth which is Jesus Christ in our daily life and gives us the tools to apply the truth to life. He does not want us to just know the facts but to know the one who holds the facts. Holding truth in balance is also essential in Alan's perspective. These true's presented in this book are essential for us standing on the truth that is our inheritance in Jesus Christ and for knowing our true identity and walking in His grace rather than living under the law. Knowing the truth not only set us free to be who we are in Christ but will assist us from not being deceived and wasting our time in foolishness. Christ wants and offers us fullness and these basic true's can assist us in the fullness that Christ is to us. These true's are about a relationship with Jesus Christ so that we might walk in Him and He is us. We as Christians have a freedom and joy that no others have and we need to know the truth that sets us and keeps us on this course. We can leave an eternal and spiritual legacy and look with confidence on the coming of Christ at the last day. The author is a former Southern Baptist pastor who received his bachelor of arts from the University of Saskatchewan and his masters of divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Alan is divorced and remarried and has two children, Joel and Katrina. Alan now lives in Kelowna, BC Canada with his wife, Jamie.
