Humanity faces a bleak future. Coastlines flood, forcing a tide of climate refugees to migrate inland. In America's heartland, they confront new challenges. Ancient viruses thaw and wreak havoc on the population. Unrelenting drought turns fertile land into a dust bowl. Neighboring states declare war on each other, and governments resort to draconian measures to maintain control.

In the face of oppression and injustice, a group of ordinary citizens rises to defend the vulnerable, champion the cause of the marginalized people, and fight for justice in a world on the brink of collapse.

This is a gripping tale of survival and sacrifice in a world torn apart by environmental catastrophe and societal upheaval. With its fast-paced plot, compelling characters, and thought-provoking themes, this apocalyptic novel offers a haunting glimpse into a future that may not be as distant as we'd like to believe.

Autorenporträt
About the Author

I've visited 18 countries, traveled through all 50 states, lived in 10, and was born in Massachusetts. Contrary to my young daughter's assertion, I did not participate in the Boston Tea Party. I spent most of my working career in Los Angeles, where I met my wife over 50 years ago. We both worked at and retired from UCLA.

I've been writing short stories off and on for over 30 years.

After retiring, I wrote a novel about ordinary people dealing with the effects of Climate Change. Please buy my book. You won't be disappointed. It's a good read. Then please leave a review.
