Autorenporträt
D. L. Clark was born DeAnna Lynn Stewart, and she lived in Tampa, Florida, where most of her life she lived until 2000, when she moved her family to a small town in North Florida, where she lives with her husband and two of her children. Two of the older children have moved away and started their own careers and gone to college. DeAnna lives on a farm where they grow a variety of vegetables, which they put up and sell to several customers in their area. It has become a business over the years, and although it is hard work and very time-consuming, it seems to provide food for her family as well as to other families in her area. A lot of the food is given to families that are in need or just wanting to cook some fresh vegetables that evening. DeAnna's hobbies include spending time with her family, writing books, painting ceramics, and learning how to sew, and she has been working on her second book. She hopes it will get published sometime next summer!
