Autorenporträt

João Rosa de Castro attended meetings held by the DLM-FFLCH-University of São Paulo. He had the first formal contact with the Anglo-Irish Literature, especially the contemporary Irish Drama. Started post-graduation course also instituted by the FFLCH. Bachelor of arts, with a degree in Education in São Paulo, he translated into Portuguese: essays by Oscar Wilde, Pen, Pencil and Poison, The Decay of Lying, The Soul of Man under Socialism, etc., and into English: Invaders from Mars: The Adventures of Joaquim and Eduardo, the first part of the children and young people saga, by Michael Ruman, and Urban Mosaics, Primus AD and Origami, by Mauricio R B Campos. In addition to the introduction of the latter, in its Portuguese Edition. Today, the author develops poetry and prose works in Portuguese, which have been published in the Internet (www.lumedarena.blogspot.com.br) and several poetry collections in the conventional format. He produces literary analysis, translation, version and proofreading in Portuguese and English, besides the studies of Science, Philosophy and Literature.
