Today, thousands of species of wildlife are on the verge of extinction because of our hyperactive activities. Hurricanes, earthquakes, droughts and floods, melting glaciers in Antarctica, tsunamis and God knows what else. We are destroying animal and human habitats, we have changed the climate so much that there is no way back (some people have already realized that we are doomed and started building underground dugouts with a three-year supply of food and water as if it would help). But we continue to pollute the air with industrial waste as serial maniacs turn fossil reserves of hydrocarbon raw materials into smoke...
Have you not yet understood that mankind has entered the last stage of extinction? No? It's a pity... Because we have new cataclysms ahead of us, in comparison with which a collision with a meteorite, who will pierce our planet like a knife cuts butter, is a trifle. And what will happen when drugs, gambling and virtual reality completely replace our lives? Is this our future?
Let's finally be honest with ourselves: we are wild, we are crazy, we are disgusting. A few days ago, a leader of a developing country reported to the world that if a nuclear war would happen, that his population would go to heaven, and that all others would die in hell... So, he said. Or is he already looking forward to meeting 72 virgins in paradise? By the way, how joyfully his subjects applauded him, they also want to get there quickly? Boring to live on Earth?
- The Lord! I pray to You! I do not know what You imagined the human civilization of the future to be, whether You wanted to make all men free and happy so that they live in peace and prosperity...
- What you are asking for - mirage and fantasy. If I do so, the time will come, and the cruel rulers will take away from the weak what I have given you, and from the poor what I have given you, and everything will be as before.
- But don't You see how we suffer, how we pray daily and hourly for the forgiveness of our sins and fall at Your feet? Give us a chance...
