When Jonah obeyed God, he told the people of Nineveh what God said, and the people believed and repented of their sins. Jonah was unhappy because God showed the people mercy. Sometimes, we desire revenge so much that we forget that our God is love and mercy. He desires that all people be saved, and he calls us just as he called Jonah. We are to tell the people about his love and mercy so that all may repent of their sins and receive salvation. This story teaches us that spreading the Word of God and repenting leads us to Gods mercy, love, and forgiveness. I challenge you to spread the Word and tell someone you know about Gods love.
