Elias Götz is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Uppsala Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies (UCRS), Uppsala Univresity, Sweden.  Neil MacFarlane is Lester B Pearson Professor of International Relations and Fellow at St Anne's College, University of Oxford, UK.
