Ana Quincoces Rodriguez grew up in a Cuban household in sunny Miami, Florida, where she was routinely conscripted to help her mother in the kitchen, which led to her passion for the art of cooking. Rodriguez has appeared in several magazines and newspapers as a result of the success of her first self-published, book, Cuban Chicks Can Cook. She lives in Miami, Florida with her husband and two teenage daughters.
