Peter Konashevich, better known by the nickname given to him by the Cossacks - Sagaidachny - one of the most significant figures in ancient Ukrainian history. Andrei Tchaikovsky's The Quiver is a historical novel in which the author recreates a broad epic canvas and portrays a Cossack commander as a courageous and courageous patriot.
