Autorenporträt

Julia Kospach, Jahrgang 1968, ist Kulturpublizistin, Literaturkritikerin, Autorin, Verlegerin und Consultant. Sie studierte Linguistik und Slawistik in Wien und Paris, arbeitete bis 2004 als Literaturredakteurin des Nachrichtenmagazins profil, anschließend als Mitarbeiterin André Hellers für dessen internationale Kunst- und Kulturprojekte. Seit 2006 freie Autorin, schreibt sie vor allem über Literatur, Kulturgeschichte, Natur und Garten. Zahlreiche Buchveröffentlichungen. Sie lebt in Wien und Bad Ischl.

Elisabeth Schweeger, 1954 in Wien geboren, studierte Komparatistik in Wien und Paris. Kulturmanagerin. Kuratorin unter anderem für documenta 87, Ars Electronica 1988, Kulturhauptstadt Europas Berlin 1988, Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien (1984-1992), Kommissärin für den österreichischen Pavillon der Biennale Venedig 2001. Künstlerische Leiterin des Marstalls und Chefdramaturgin am Bayerischen Staatsschauspiel in München (1993-2001). 1999 erhielt sie den Theaterpreis der Landeshauptstadt München. Intendantin des Schauspiel Frankfurt (2001-2009) und der KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen in Hannover (2010-2015). Direktorin und Geschäftsführerin der Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg (2014-2022). Seit November 2021 Künstlerische Geschäftsführerin der Kulturhauptstadt Europas Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024. Sie lebt in Österreich und Deutschland.
