Carmen Scharpf, geboren 1982 im baden-württembergischen Göppingen, absolvierte nach der Mittleren Reife eine Ausbildung zur Kauffrau im Groß- und Außenhandel. Heute arbeitet sie als Verkäuferin im Einzelhandel. Zu ihren Lieblingsaktivitäten zählen Stricken und Häkeln sowie Kochen und Backen. Daneben ist das Lesen eine ihrer großen Leidenschaften, seit Neuestem auch das Schreiben. ¿Samy, die kleine Fee¿ ist Scharpfs literarisches Erstlingswerk. Die Autorin lebt heute in Eislingen, ist verheiratet und Mutter eines Kindes.
