Autorenporträt
Matt W. Hayward is Professor in the School of Environmental and Life Sciences at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He has worked across the globe researching and managing biodiversity as an environmental consultant, conservation manager, and researcher in the private sector, for environmental NGOs, government, and now in academia. Matt has worked on the reintroduction of lions and hyaenas in South Africa, pine martens in the UK, and a variety of marsupials in Australia, as well as studying the conservation of the quokka and reviewing the Indian government's National Tiger Census. He has had students working on the conservation of a variety of species including frogs, shorebirds, snakes, elephants, red squirrels, and parma wallabies.
