Autorenporträt

JAMES HALLIDAY STAGE was born in1952 in Aberdeen, Scotland to an English mother and a Scottish father. After leaving school he went to college and completed an apprenticeship as an electrician. He has been an inventor and designer. He loves aviation and space, and has flown solo Cessna 150 and microlight aircraft and hang-gliders. He still enjoys riding his motorbike and is currently rebuilding an Isetta 300 bubble car. When his three sons Mark, Richard, and Scott, were children he would make up his own ad-libbed bedtime stories for them. SAVING COMET ISLAND is his first book.
