Autorenporträt

Uriel Amilius Andros grew up on a farm in SW Washington. After graduating from high school he attended the University of Washington, where he took a BA degree in English Literature in 1965. After a brief time out in the business world he 'dropped out' and began to explore his spiritual side. In 1969 he joined with some friends to start a spiritual community in Seattle.

He has since spent most of his adult life studying spiritual matters, mostly in the context of monastic spiritual community. He currently lives and teaches in the community of Nasalam, located in the Ozarks of SW Missouri, where he is a High priest in the Order of Melchizedek.
