Simon Williams, supposedly banished from the magical world after his loss in the Coliseum, has now returned to stabilize the chaos space-time is falling into. And amongst the aliens experimenting and observing, it seems difficult for the human condition to be improved, let alone redeemed.

Remaining heroic and dignified in the face of the problems of mortality and odd moralities, Abyss and Diana face off against both nihilism and dogma as they continue their epic adventure.
