Pain is one of the most frequent health complaints among older people. Neuropsychiatric disturbances can severely affect the experience of pain. Autorenporträt
Dr. Dirk K. Wolter, a neurologist, psychotherapist and geriatrician, is a senior consultant in the field of gerontological psychiatry in Aabenraa (in southern Denmark). He previously headed the departments of gerontological psychiatry in two specialist clinics in Germany. He is a member of the Board of the German Society for Gerontological Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.
