Anna Heussaff's first novel Bás Tobann (Cois Life 2004) was a bestseller among Irish-language readers. She has since published five more novels for adults and children. Her children's book Hóng (Cló Iar-Chonnacht, 2012) was given the Judge's Special Award in the Children's Books Ireland Awards, 2013.
