Autorenporträt
Sedigheh Javidi was born in 1967 at Port Bushehr in Iran. She has been interested in Art and Literature since childhood and did a Master's degree in dramatic literature. She spent years of her life as a school teacher of children and felt privileged to become a guest of their beautiful and self-confident world resulting in her writing and publishing several children's books, short stories and a screenplay. . Her experience of the imposed war in her country, which lasted for eight years interrupting her childhood and adolescence, gives her work a different depth, perspective and colour. A major concern in Sedigheh's work and life is to help envisage a world of non-violence, the ensured safety, health and happiness of all children around the world. A solution that she hopes will improve the living conditions and future of children is the establishment of a publishing house the cultural and artistic institute of the "new wave of Siraf " (Tehran-Iran). The future belongs to children, "I will never forget the night we were looking at the sky and we had doubts about tomorrow coming. For all the kids in the world, I want a sky full of stars".
