Thinking that his failure came from a poor choice of party affiliation, he switches party only for things to get messier for him. He soon finds himself between the rock and a hard place as he is caught in a cross fire from Barrister Edgar Morris and Chief Idris Zobas, leaders of the two dominant parties in his country. He becomes an unwilling pun in a chess game as the two men battle for political dominance. He could chicken out of the game if he still had a way of doing so without hurting his political career or displeasing any of the godfathers. Unfortunately, he has reached a point in his political quest where backing out has become as difficult as going forward. Each of the options would come at a tremendous cost. Augustine Ogbunugwu is an Anglican Priest who earned a bachelor's degree in Education Biology from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a Master's degree in Theology from Houston Graduate School of Theology. The Venerable Ogbunugwu is the Rector of the Good Shepherd Anglican Church and the Archdeacon of Austin Texas. He has published two books- The Enemy to Love and Swimming with Lizards. Season of Impunity is his third published work. He has three other unpublished manuscripts. He is married with two children and two grandchildren.
