Marian Colette is a grandmother She worked for over 40 years with low income women antd children both in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and in Whitley County, Kentucky. Marian is married to artist Dal Macon, They have two children: Sarah a mother and teacher who lives in Henderson, Kentucky and Adam, an environmental activist, working for the Dogwood Alliance in Ashville, North Carolina. Marian has been writing poetry as a hobby since 2004.
