Seçil Erzan was born in 1976 in Çorlu and spent her teen years there. Çorlu is a big town in Tekirdag city and one of the biggest in Turkey. Then she graduated from the university with a degree in geology in Izmit. She worked in different branches of Denizbank, a mid size bank in Turkey, in Çorlu and in Istanbul. While she was working in those branches as the branch manager, she conducted her devious ploys: She got tens of millions of dollars from dozens of prominent people in a Ponzi Scheme. It is estimated that one fourth of that money disappeared in the transactions. She has a summer villa in Bozcaada. And now, she is in a prison in Istanbul. It seems that she will stay in prison for an unforeseen future.

1964 yilinda dogdum. 1988 yilinda ODTÜ Elektrik/Elektronik Mühendisligi bölümünden mezun oldum. Mezuniyet sonrasindaki ilk iki yildan sonra sürekli olarak bilgisayar alaninda çalistim. Bilgisayar alaninda 7 kitabim var. Bir tanesi ("TCP/IP";) 15. baskisinda bulunuyor. Cumhuriyet gazetesinin Bilim-Teknik ekinde, Bilim ve Gelecek dergisinde çok sayida bilim konulu makalem yayinlandi. Uzmanlik alanimin, zor teknik konulari anlasilir sekilde yazmak oldugunu düsünüyorum.
