Wouter Fourie is an advanced postgraduate-qualified financial planner (investments and estate planning) with more than 21 years' experience in the field of comprehensive financial planning and wealth management. He is also a qualified professional accountant (SA) with postgraduate qualifications in advanced taxation. He won the 2015/2016 Financial Planner of the Year Award, which honours South Africa's most proficient professional financial planner. He is the CEO of Ascor Independent Wealth Managers, which was named Best Advisor Practice for South Africa in 2016. He also serves as a non-executive director of the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa (FPI) and director and chairman of the FPI Centre for Professional Development (Pty) Ltd.
