David E. Lasker was born on August 15, 1945--the official day of the end of World War II. For over 3 decades, he was a civil rights lawyer. He did the tough work of fighting for fairness and justice and believed in being of service of everyday people's lives. He has fought cases in the US Supreme Court and was a guest on Oprah. He's committed to expanding the personal freedom of the American people, preserving the unity of our nation, and cultivating a caring and compassionate community among us. He's the proud father of his son, Adam, and grandfather of three adorable grandchildren.
