Osho's style may sometimes seem shocking and provocative - perhaps devoid of politeness - but as he declares from time to time he does so deliberately to help his listeners to be vigilant and not to rely on, or cling to rigid postulates to the point where they become unwilling. I am not here to justify Osho, he justifies himself, but I am referring here in advance to the reader, please do not rush, if he encounters any of this, throw the book aside and miss the opportunity to benefit from this great thinker, as could have happened to me when this Osho sometimes appeared to me as an embodiment. If I had responded to my feelings at those times, I would have deprived myself of that other side of his spirituality, which seemed to me to be a spirituality of purity that people missed and desperately needed. For those who can only do otherwise, there is nothing wrong with them.
