Autorenporträt
Maureen Pollard is a registered social worker, an author and a songwriter. Born and raised in the part of Canada that's south of Detroit, she now works and lives in the part of Canada that's a little bit east of the fabled centre of the universe, her whole life spent on stolen land.

Maureen worked primarily as a frontline child welfare worker for the better part of 20 years. Best Interests is her first novel.
