Autorenporträt
Dorman Laird, ThD (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary), is professor of religion emeritus of William Carey University, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he taught for thirty-nine years. Dr. Laird has served numerous churches as interim pastor, Bible study leader, and pulpit supply. He is a regular contributor to Biblical Illustrator, published by Lifeway, and serves First Baptist Church, Sumrall, Mississippi, as deacon and Sunday school teacher. His hobbies include woodworking and restoring Studebakers. He and his wife, Henrietta, have been married for fifty-five years and enjoy time with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They live in Sumrall, Mississippi.
